ConnectPOS supports multiple types of barcode scanners. This article will walk you through how to connect a barcode scanner with ConnectPOS and a list of compatible devices with our system.
NOTE: For devices that are not on the list, we’re always ready to customize and set up your device with ConnectPOS.
For wired barcode scanners #
For a wired barcode scanner, you can plug in the scanner to the PC then install the driver.
Test the device to see whether the scanner has worked properly or not.
For Bluetooth scanners #
Turn on Bluetooth on your device’s setting. Tap the device from the menu to pair it.
Note: Bluetooth can pair with only one device at a time. To pair your Bluetooth scanner with a different device, you’ll first need to unpair it first.
Unpair your scanner #
- Hold the Trigger button (large button) and the Power button (small button) down together until you hear 3 beeps.
- Release both buttons.
Follow the same steps above to pair/unpair your scanner to a different device.
